While professor Matrika Pokharel said that Poudyal’s stories present the class struggle prevalent in the society. “The stories make one sympathise with its characters who come from the lower class of the social hierarchy,” Pokharel said, adding, “I have been reading Poudyal’s fictional works for a long time and they have influenced my work in more ways than one.”
